I have several issues with this one. My first issue is that tax cut or not, the economic status of blacks remains the same on all levels. It doesn't matter what happens with taxes, black people always gets the bitter end of the stick. Black people still rank last in median income salary in the United States, therefore paying taxes and receiving a refund every year will not change our income earnings and ability to raise our cost of living overtime. This proves that the black community is constantly being held back by the United States government, while white people continue to hover above us. They have been the oppressor to the black community for years, and it is a hard cycle to get out of unless you can prove that you can make them millions in return. Wall Street and big banks prey on the poor. They put a promise in our face to tease us. Auto leases for $199/mo., low down payment auto or mortgage loans, low interest rates, then after we have applied, somehow we don't qualify. But they still manage to lure us in on a promise. And just when you think you got a deal, you realize Jake's deal was even better.
Take a look at the chart above. Look at the numbers and analyze for a minute. Now see where blacks fall in this category...dead ass last! When I talk about the lack of wealth in the black community, I am not saying that the majority of the black community is struggling and unable. But what I am saying is that black people don't rank as high as they should. This doesn't apply to the Beyonce's and Jay-Zs of America, this applies to your average person you see everyday. While wages have increased over the last few years, well so has the cost of living. Representation without taxation. It's a vicious cycle.
So how do we move forward as a community in this parliament? It is becoming more and more evident everyday that we are not equal in this power hungry country. For blacks to have come from slavery over the last hundred plus years, we are still enslaved in so many ways. We were never given the same opportunity as whites. We were never intended to be their equal. Even if you have reached your full success potential regardless of your career, I guarantee that you are getting the shorter end of the stick compared to whites, and even judging by the chart, other minorities in some instances. Black people, we are still enslaved. We are still in the position of the oppressed. Donald Trump will remain in a position to be an oppressor. Look at the amount of disrespect every last group of minorities, including blacks have received in this country. There is no way that he will make things better for us, let alone anyone else within a certain tax bracket. How else would he continue to fatten his pockets?
America is not here for us. America has sold us hopes and dreams. It is time that we speak up on the inequality in this country, and speak upon our behalf. We need more black politicians as well as more blacks needing to get out and vote. We have got to take politics a little more seriously in the black community. It used to be that blacks have felt like there was no need for us to vote because politicians don't look out for us, but there is a plethora of black politicians now more than ever. It's time to form unity like M.L.K. and Malcolm X. We have to rally together on all levels without backing down or the injustice and inequality will continue with no regard. We have to show that we are intelligent enough to know that we have been set up to work 20 times harder. If we keep paying attention, more and more will start to be unveiled. The phrase "the struggle is real" is no joke. We really have to observe and analyze what's going on because it's only getting worst from here.
