Let me rephrase this; I'm not talking about the white people that are sick of the prejudice and white supremacy in America, I'm talking about white people that hate anyone with an ounce of melanin in their skin. White people that spew hate with the mention of the words "minority" or "immigrants." I'm talking to all the Donald Trump's, Jeff Session's, Jason Stockley's, and Steve Bannon's of the world.
This comes in the wake of, well, all of the blatant discrimination occurring in this country. However, before I go into a rant about the recent acquittal of Jason Stockley in my next blog, I would like to first acknowledge those that stand behind blacks and other minorities in outrage. It's sickening how many politicians and law enforcement officials join panels on national news stations and defend the disgusting behavior of outright racists, hateful, and prejudice police officers. They come up with any defense they can find to justify the obvious hate they display for minorities and immigrants. Shouting things like "I'm going to kill this muther fu**er" clearly shows the motive. He said it!!! So how dare you defend it justifiably???
I applaud those whites that stand with us (minorities and immigrants), and let their voices be heard, and take risks against the hate the of their own in response to standing up for human rights. We all saw what happened in Charlottesville, so there shouldn't be a need to recap those events (unless you live in a cave). With that being said, we all know what white supremacists are capable of, and if you are one of several white people willing to take that risk, then you deserve recognition and I commend your dedication to spark change. I just wish there were more people like you, willing to take the risk to stand up for human rights and vomit at the thought of prejudice in a "free" America.
So please, whenever you come across my blogs that evoke frustration and anger against hate and prejudice, just know that this is not towards you. Only hit dogs holler; therefore, no nerves should be struck if you can comfortably sit down and have a conversation with people of color without feeling superior. No one is born racists, it is taught. So just like you learned it, you can erase it. Continue to practice love and peace for all mankind, and encourage the opposition to find it in their hearts to do the same. God Bless us all!!!
